How To Talk To Leads Over The Phone?

Here is a generic script that has been proven to be effective that you can adapt to your own business:

Hi (NAME) , how's it going? This is (YOUR NAME) and I'm calling you because you requested more info about working from home? (Ask if it’s a good time to go over the information they requested)
If they say no, ask when will it be a good time to give them a call back. If they say yes ask them (What can I do for you?)

(Let the prospect talk and take notes on what they are saying. You may need to ask a few probing questions to bring out what they are looking for - but don't pitch them)

I need to ask you a few questions to figure out what info to direct you to.

Some questions to ask:
  • Are you currently working from home? (if yes - "what is it?")
  • What do you do for a living? How long? What do you like about it? What do you dislike about it?
  • Are you thinking of replacing your current income or just supplementing it?
  • Do you have a family, spouse, kids?
  • Have you ever been self-employed or owned a home business before?
  • Now, what level of income are you looking to generate in the next 12 months?
You know (NAME) , our company has quite a standard for the people we are looking for. There's a lot of work on our part in setting someone up in a home business successfully. So, we are looking for people who are absolutely serious about building a business and making money from home. So (NAME) , how serious are you about starting a home business? why?

Great! Let me tell you a little about the company I work with. (give a 30-60 second overview. It is very important to be brief).

The name of our company is (Your Company) . Have you heard of us?

Now (NAME) , the person we are looking for has 3 main qualities: they are a team player, self-motivated, and dependable. Do you feel you have these qualities? Great!

Great, I want to share with you a website that are jam packed with information. You'll definitely want to take some notes on what you see.

The first site is www.yourwebpage.com (Have them repeat this)

(You can also send them to a conference call, sizzle call, or some way for them to do some homework on their own. They need to demonstrate their ability and willingness to investigate your company. Two things, such as a web site and a sizzle call can be effective because the prospect gets 2 exposures.)
